Service was friendly and top notch. Our server Jazzi was amazing. Food was so tasty and fresh. Cute place to stop by for a delicious meal and cocktail.

What a little gem of a place! We were looking for a good Bloody Mary and found that they have a delicious variety of food on their menu at a great value. They also served a French pear martini which is hard to find. As this place to your list while in Placerville!

Came in for dinner after a day adventuring in the high Sierra's. Service was very good, decor was attractive, food was amazing! I had the cavatapi pasta. The chicken in it was perfect. Instead of a few large pieces just placed on top, it was sliced thinner and mixed in so that it also had the flavors of the wonderful sauce. I personally hate when a dish includes bacon, and the bacon is just tiny hard bits. The bacon was perfect in this! The garlic cheese bread was plentiful, and I had dinner last night, lunch today, and still some left over. As an artichoke liver, I'd have liked a few more of those. Others with me had the ribs, which he really liked, and the Bo Peep (lamb) burger, of which not a crumb was left on his plate!

Food was really good! Service was ok, I got 2 different drinks dripped on me by 2 different waitresses, 1 each leg. The ketchup they brought me literally exploded all over me and the table. If I ever come back, I'll get food to go for sure...I don't always wear dark clothes to cover up the messes!

Stopped in here for a late lunch on the recommendation of the people working at Lava Cap, where we had been wine tasting. Cute restaurant, parking was free and easy to find despite the busy and central location. Huge menu with wide variety of options. My friend got the tuna melt and I got the fish and chips. Everything was served hot and it was quite tasty. Ambiance was relaxed and the service was attentive and friendly. I left my credit card there and went back almost a week later to get it. So grateful they had saved it for me!

I've heard great things about this place. So I figure try it. Hostess wasn't particularly friendly. Bar tender was good. Asked her to surprise me with something non-carbonated and sweet. She nailed it with a Mai Tai. The happy hour pot stickers taste exactly like the bag for get from Grocery Outlet but you don't get the whole bag for 10 bucks. You get 5. lol It was slightly busy but loud as hell! Casual place. I like casual. And way more classy than the tweakers at Liars Bench! I'll be back to enjoy another Mai Tai and watch some football!

The service was wonderful . The waitress that helped us yesterday for lunch was quick and attentive . After we ordered our food was out in less than 10 minutes. We ordered the Santa Fe Sandwich and fries , really good . I had the chicken Casper salad . Super yummy . It had the perfect balance of dressing to salad ratio .

Bricks was recommended to us by a winery we had visited. Old Town Placerville. We were seated immediately with our menus. Server came by with water pretty quickly. We ordered a Beet Goat Cheese salad, panko crusted fried green tomatoes over grits and an ahi tuna lettuce wrap, all to share. The salad was fabulous. Whatever the dressing was, it didn't over power the greens. The fried green tomatoes were ok. The grits kind of ruined the flavor of the tomatoes. If I ordered this again, I would ask to not have the grits included. The Ahi Tuna wrap was not what we expected at all. Thought we would have some nice ahi wrapped in small lettuce leaves with all the veggies that goes with something like this. The pineapple salsa was delicious. We got three huge helpings of ahi tuna....too much. We were never able to pick it up and eat it like a lettuce wrap. The tuna was good, but we ended up not being able to eat this huge serving and we felt bad so much would be thrown out. Would probably not order this again. We had a great server and the restaurant had a nice comfortable vibe to it. We might come back sometime and try something else

Restaurant itself is so nice. Big red brick walls narrow us into this very cozy and decorative restaurant. We're greeted with a very welcoming server--they had half their head shaved and an awesome arm tattoo. I forgot their name. But such good service I love their crafty cocktails and their wine list--but I ended up grabbing a Pinot noir, my gf got the grigio and her mom got the pear martini. All delicious. The sweet potato appetizer was delicious and the caeser was INSANELY good. I wasn't the biggest fan of the French dip and based off all other factors I'd love to come back and challenge a new sandwich--because the Rueben my gf got was hella good.

Since my last review, Gayle and I have stopped at Brick's maybe 3 or 4 times. Usually, our drive from Genoa NV to the Bay Area is a straight shot, but there have been times that a Lunch-time stop was a welcome respite to what would be a long day. We both like that close-in parking is reasonably available and that we end up in a booth. I enjoy the beer selection, although I think their ample IPA selection could be slightly reduced to make way for more robust brews like a Brown, Stout, or Quad Belgian. Last Thursday's Lunch was Tuscan Chicken (with Fries) and a Pale Ale for me and a Santa Fe Melt with Mixed Green Salad for Gayle. We both agreed that with the huge portions served here, we should have shared an order. Yet and with the exception of the fries, we can't believe we ate the whole delicious things!
